The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Moynul Haque Manju, the councillor of ward No. 39 under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) along with alcohol and firearms from his office in Tikatuli area of the capital.
Lt Col Shafi Ullah Bulbul, commanding officer of RAB-3, confirmed the news.RAB members will conduct a raid at his residence later in the day, he said.
Earlier, RAB raided the office of Moynul Haque Manju at Tikatuli area in the capital.
