The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed a case against former Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) AM Mosaddique Ahmed and three others for their alleged involvement in irregularities in recruiting pilots for the national flag carrier.
Three others accused are Director (flight operation) Farhat Hassan Jamil, Biman director (admin) Partha Kumar Pandit and Manager (recruitment) Fakhrul Hossain Chowdhury.Earlier on May 3, AM Mosaddique Ahmed was relieved of his duties following allegations of irregularities and corruption in Biman.
Prior to that, the anti-graft body imposed a travel ban on 10 people, including AM Masaddique Ahmed, on charges of irregularities in pilot recruitment.
