Girl’s beheaded body found in Osmani Nagar

Sylhet Office : Police recovered the beheaded body of a young girl in Ghugnighar wetland area of Osmani Nagar upazila in Sylhet on Monday night.

The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
Md Rashed Mobarak, officer-in-charge of Osmaninagar Police Station, said informed by locals, police recovered the partially decomposed body of the girl, age about 20, from the area around 8pm.

The girl might have been killed a week ago, said the OC adding that the motive behind the killing is yet to be known.

The body was sent to morgue for autopsy, he added.
