Masuk, Zakir elected president, general secretary of AL Sylhet city unit

Sylhet Office : Veteran freedom fighter Masuk Uddin and Professor Zakir Hossain have been elected president and general secretary of Sylhet city unit of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) respectively for next three years.

AL general secretary Obaidul Quader announced their names during the triennial council of Sylhet district and city units of the party in Alia Madrasa ground in the town’s Chowhatta on Thursday afternoon.
Masuk Uddin was vice president of AL Sylhet district unit, while Zakir Hossain was joint secretary of AL Sylhet city unit in the last committee.
