Besides, outgoing general secretary Advocate Abdul Majid Khan has been made central working committee member of the party.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today announced names of the new leaders at the second session of the unit’s triennial council at Nimtala in front of the deputy commissioner (DC) office here.Earlier, the AL general secretary inaugurated the council by releasing pigeons and balloons.

Habiganj district AL President Advocate Md Abu Jahir presided over the programme, which was addressed by, among others, AL Presidium Member Nurul Islam Nahid, Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Organizing Secretaries Ahmed Hossain and Advocate Md Misbah Uddin Siraj, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali and lawmakers Shahnewaz Milad Gazi and Sheikh Nesar Ahmed.
