At least three people, including a man and his wife were killed and two others injured in different road accidents in Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh early Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Akkas Ali, 50 and his wife 42 and Kamrul Islam, 35.
Confirming the news, Al-Mahmud Adnan, in-charge of Bharadoba Highway Police Outpost, said an unidentified vehicle hit a pick-up van carrying four from behind on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, leaving them injured.
Later, on information, members of fire service rushed to the spot and took them to Bhaluka Hospital where duty doctor declared them dead, he said.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).
Beside, a Dhaka-bound vehicle hit a motorcycle on which Kamrul was riding in Sidstor area this morning, leaving him dead on the spot, Al-Mahmud Adnan said.
