Cumilla’s Brahmanpara upazila chairman dies

Al-hajj Muhammad Abu Taher, chairman of Brahmanpara Upazila Parishad, died at a hospital in the capital on Wednesday night.

The chairman breathed his last at 11:00 pm while undergoing treatment.
He had been suffering from old age complications for a long time.

Awami League presidium member and local MP Advocate Abdul Matin Khasru, Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Abul Fazal Mir, various political leaders, social and cultural organizations expressed deep shock at the death of Abu Taher.

They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of the chairman and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
