Bangladesh reports 38 more Covid deaths, 2,325 new cases in a 24 hrs

Bangladesh recorded 38 more Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours, raising the total deaths to 26,832, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Friday.

As many as 2,325 new cases were detected, taking the total caseload to 1,527,215, the DGHS said this afternoon.
The death toll reported today is the lowest in three months as 36 death were recorded on June 9.

Currently, the positivity rate is 8.65 percent while the overall positivity rate is 16.62 percent.
