3 war criminals sentenced to death in Moulvibazar

Moulvibazar Correspondent : The International Crimes Tribunal-1 has sentenced three people to death for committing crimes during the Liberation War in 1971.

The three-member tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam handed down the verdict on Thursday, prosecutor Sabina Yesmin Khan said.

The condemned convicts are Abdul Aziz alias Habul, Abdul Mannan and Abdul Matin of Baralekha upazila in the district.

Of them, Matin is still absconding while the other two were present in court to hear the verdict.
