Habiganj’s Shahjibazar Power Plant catches fire

Habiganj Correspondent : A fire broke out at Shahjibazar 330 MW Power Plant at Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district on Sunday, officials said.

Chief engineer of the power plant Mizanur Rahman said the fire broke out around 9:50 am at the power plant and spread soon.

Six fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames, he added.
