Daylong COVID vaccination starts, aim to inoculate 75 lakh people

Special vaccination drive with an aim to inoculate some 75 lakh people with COVID boosters and second dose has started in the country.

The campaign began at 9 am on Tuesday and will continue till 4 pm.

Some 16,181 vaccination booths have been set up while around 33,246 vaccination workers and 49,869 volunteers have been assigned.

The government has brought 76.05 per cent people under first dose of vaccination coverage, 70.3 per cent under second dose while 17.9 per cent people were brought under the booster dose coverage.
