Bottled Soyabean oil price falls by Tk 14 per litre

Price of bottled soyabean oil has decreased by Tk 14 per litre to Tk 185 with effect from Thursday.

Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (BVOVMA) has taken this decision.
The association sent a letter to Senior Secretary Ministry of Commerce in this regard.

Due to decrease in edible oil in the international market, a decision has been taken to reduce price in the domestic market, said Md Nurul Islam, chief executive officer of BVOVMA.

The price of soyabean oil has been listed below-

Open soyabean oil will be sold at Tk 166 per litre while bottled soyaben oil at Tk 185 per litre, and Tk 910 five litres.

Apart form soyaben oil, palm oil price has also decreased. From now on, it will be sold at Tk 152 per litre.
