Rohingya held with arms in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive arrested a man along with two firearms, two rounds of cartridges and stolen goods from a cannel at KK para of Teknaf in Naf River.

The arrested was Mohammad Ayub, 21, a resident of Muchni rohingya refugee camp.

Coast Guard official lieutenant commander Abdur Rahman said acting on a tip-off a team of the force conducted a raid in the cannel and arrested the man with the firearms and stolen goods.

A case was filed with Teknaf Police Station against him, the official added.
