Independent candidate Bijoy Kumar meets with PM Sheikh Hasina

Bijoy Kumar Chowdhury, an independent candidate for the position of cauliflower symbol in Chattogram-8 constituency, met Bangladesh Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on Wednesday.

Bijoy Kumar Chowdhury told Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that there is great enthusiasm among the people of Chattogram-8 constituency around the election.

He said, “The Prime Minister has said that the upcoming January 7 election will be held in a free, fair, neutral, participatory and festive atmosphere.”
