Ex-home minister’s son Joty arrested

Police have arrested the son of former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal from Uttara area in the capital.

The arrested is Safi Muddaser Khan Joty.

Dhaka district police arrested him from Uttara area in the capital early Saturday (September 14).

Superintendent of Dhaka police Amhed Mueed confirmed the arrest news.

He added, “Joty was arrested at around 3:30AM in a case filed with Ashulia Police Station. He will be produced before the court on Saturday for remand.”
