Condolence meeting organised by Greater London Awami League

Greater London Awami League organised a meeting on 28th August on the occasion of the National Mourning Day and Martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and to denounce the grandee attack on Sheikh Hasina and other Awami leaders.  The meeting was held in Micro Business Centre in East London.

The meeting was presided over by the President Nurul Haque Lala Miah and General Secretary Altafur Rahman Mojahid conducted it. Joint General Secretary of UK Awami League Maruf Ahmed Chowdhury addressed the audience as Chief Guest.  Special guests who gave speech at the meeting included Advisor of UK Awami League Alhaj Abdul Mutalib, Religion Affairs Secretary Syed Suruk Ali, Senior Vice-president of Greater London Awami League Anhar Miah, Vice-president Ilias Miah, Moinul Haque, Immigration Secretary Delewar Hossain, International Affairs Secretary Aminul Haque Jiluy, Tunu Miah, Ashraf Uddin, Abdul Hannan, Syed Tareque, Shamim Ahmed, Arup Chowdhury, Chandan Miah, Syed Hamja Miah, Ashraf MIah, Babul Hossain Babul, Ashiqul Islam, Mujibur Rahman, Ahbab Miah, Bahar Miah, Mamuk Kabir Chowdhury, Awlad Ali, Najrul Islam, Dhara Miah, Saleh Ahmed, Abdus Salam, Shahin Ahmed, Abdul Basit and others.

Religious Affairs Secretary Pir Bakhtiar recited from the Quran in the beginning.

In the Meeting Mujibur Rahman Mujib was again nominated as Law Secretary by the request of Chief Guest Maruf Ahmed Chowdury.
