Bangladesh High Commission in London organised a special event to observe Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman’s 95th Birthday and National Children’s Day 2015. Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK, Md Abdul Hannan started the day with placing wreaths at the photo of Bangbandhu. Messages from the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary were

Guests who took part in the discussion on Bangabandhu’s colourful and vigorous life included prominent physician Alauddin Ahmed, Barrister Anis Rahman OBE, former President of UK Awami League Alhaj Shamsuddin Khan, Principal of Kishorganj Mukitijodhdha Abdul Haque College MD Abdul Haque Nuru and UK Awami League President Sultan Sharif.The spekers called on the children of Bangladesh and expats to be qualified citizens inspired by Bangabandhu’s life and work.
