Bangladesh iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan expressed his optimism about playing good cricket and said that they want to maintain the continuation of their present form of cricket in coming days.
“Bangladesh team are playing a very good cricket. I hope that we are able to maintain its continuation in days to come. You all pray for us,” said Shakib Al Hasan. Bangladesh swashbuckling opener Tamim Iqbal was accompanied by Shakib went to visit at International Centre for Dirroheal Disease Research, Bangladesh ( ICDDRB) in Mohakhali in the capital yesterday.
Former national skipper and cricket operation chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Naimur Rahman Durjoy was present there as the chief guest.

Before the inspection, Durjoy and Shakib, on behalf of the Bangladesh national cricket team, handed a bat that was inserted the players’ signature to Prof John De Clemens, executive director of the ICDDRB.
“We feel proud of giving the players’ signature inscribed bat as memoir. We are with ICDDRB, will stay in future and will take part in their different activities,” Naimur Rahman said in his speech as the chief guest.
“The day is memorable for us. Bangladesh national team’s players have come to visit here. Bangladesh achieved so many success after winning ICC trophy in 1997. They are well playing against Pakistan. We congratulate them on their success. Hopefully they will fetch more success for its people and their country in future,” said Prof John.
ICDDRB, a non-profitable organisation, conducts various research over Diarrhea, nutrition and others related issues since its inception in 1960.
