Paneer chilli grilled sandwich
Ingredients
6 slices of multigrain bread
1/2 c paneer, chopped into small pieces
1/4 c capsicum
1/4 c broccoli
1/4 c tomatoes
1/4 c chilli sauce
1/4 c pizza base sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
Method
– Take a slice of bread, spread the pizza base sauce on it and sprinkle a generous amount of paneer cubes.
– Place bread over it and add cut vegetables, tomatoes, sprinkle a little chilli sauce, mustard sauce and pepper, spread it evenly on all sides.
– Cover it with another side of bread and grill until brown.
– Serve hot.
Brown rice and peas chiwra
Ingredients
1 c brown rice chiwra (flattened rice)
1/2 c green peas
1 tsp mustard oil
2 green chillis
1/2 tsp amchoor powder (mango powder)
1 tsp rock salt
Method
– Dry roast the poha in a kadhai.
– Heatoil in a pan, add green chillis.
– When they crackle, add peas and cook for 5 minutes.
– Add roasted chiwra.
– Add salt, mango powder and mix well. – Serve hot with cardamom/lemon tea.
Chatpate Tamarind Murmure
Ingredients
1 tbsp tamarind paste
1/2 c sprouted moong
1/4 c black gram, boiled
2 c puffed rice
1/2 c tomatoes, finely chopped
1/4 c onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp chiili powder
2 tsp lime juice
Method
– Take a deep bowl and all the ingredients and mix well. –
– Toss it for a minute, garnish with chopped coriander.
-Top with tamarind paste.
-Serve fresh.
