Int friendly football match: Bangladesh beat Nepal by 1-0

43Just a month ago thousands of football fans were shocked at the performance of Bangladesh football team as they conceded 4-0 goals against Asian power Australia in the FIFA World Cup Qualifier at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium on 17 November, 2015 but the home team now crushed Nepal by 1-0 at the same venue in the international friendly football match on Thursday evening.

From the very beginning the balanced home team took the control over the match as they started keeping busy of the opponent defense of the visiting team with the frequent attacks for searching a goal.

On the 18th minute, the home team got lead of 1-0 with the header of Shakhawat Rony from a cross of defender Munna.

The visiting team got several chances to come back in the match. Nepal’s foreword Anjan Bista’s shot hit the cross bar on 30th minute of the match was best opportunity for them.

Nepal searched for an equalizer but they failed to do so.

Finally Bangladesh left the ground with a consolidated win by 1-0 goal against Nepal ahead of SAAF Championship.
