World’s no-1 Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s injury is not so complicated and now he is out of danger, team physio confirmed.
Shakib was hurt himself during batting practice on Friday and within moments the news of his injury spread a wave of panic to the cricket-lovers of the country with concern that whether he will be able to play in the final match of Asia Cup 2016 against India on Sunday.
But team officials have scraped out any uncertainty over his participation in tomorrow’s play.
Obviously, this is a good news for Bangladesh team as well as to the sixteen crore cricket-lovers of the country.
“Shakib had hurt a hip muscle while training on Friday. And today he complained about that area a little bit again. But it’s nothing serious”, the team physio assured.
“It generally takes 24/48 hours to heal from such an injury and since he was hurt yesterday we are very much confident about his recovery within the stipulated time and he is already in a better condition,” said Bayjidul.
