Celebrities attend ARTA awards. 

ARTA awards brings restaurants together across the UK but it also brought the entertainment people last night including premiership footballer Jai Verma and British Actor and journalist Kiran Rai and England Cricketer Monty Panesar and Krishna the make up artist to attend the awards ceremony that involves Indian and Chinese restauranteurs competing to win the awards. Ambassadors of the event involved MP Paul Scully and BBC journalist Samantha Simmonds. Verma said ‘ I am excited to be here and show support ‘ while 20 nominations where listed under the restaurant of the year to companies from Scotland to Birmingham winning the awards, spice India said ‘ it was truely a fantastic experience and to be recognised in London is so over whelming ‘ and the CEO Mohammed stated ‘ it was a honour to have all the restauranter’ across the UK including our entertainment guests ‘
Taking place in London on Sunday 13th October, Westminster Park Plaza in recognition of Britain’s $5.5bn  industry, ARTA solely focuses on awarding the Asian Restaurant industry from chefs to small eateries, food cart owners and 5-star curry houses. The awardees have  finalised based on survey data from ARTA partners ChefOnline, who surveyed over 350,000 customers to ask them are about their South Asian cuisine preference in their local regions.

The red-carpet event will be hosted by BBC News presenter Samantha Simmonds and comedian/magician Paul Martin and will be attended by an array of high profile guests including: British celebrities, politicians, business leaders to VIPs and sports personalities.
