Livestock exhibition held in Sreemangal

A day-long livestock exhibition fair was held in Moulvibazar’s Sreemangal upazila on Thursday.

The programme was organized at the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital premises initiated by Directorate of Livestock in collaboration with Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP).

Agriculture Minister Abdus Shahid MP virtually attended the program as the chief guest and inaugurated the program presided over by Sreemangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abu Taleb.

Dr Karn Chandra Mallik, Upazila Livestock Officer, gave a welcome speech where Sreemangal Upazila Awami League President Ardhendu Kumar Deb Bevul, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sandeep Talukdar, Women Vice Chairman Mitali Dutta, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Sajjad Hossain Chowdhury, Agriculture Officer Mohiuddin, Police Inspector (Operation ) Tapas Chandra Roy were present as special guests.

After discussion, the guests visited the various stalls at the fair. Then prizes (crests) were awarded to the first, second and third place winners among the participants in the Livestock Exhibition Fair.
