‘Formal charges’ against Sheikh Hasina, 2 others submitted to ICT

The prosecution on Sunday pressed formal charges against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) in a case filed over crimes against humanity committed during the July uprising.

First time, the tribunal is telecasting live trial procedures.

The two accused in the report are former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.

The charges were submitted mentioning Sheikh Hasina the ‘instructor’ in the case.
