”No matter where they are in the world, the expatriates will be able to vote with the help of modern technology. This initiative will be marked as a historic milestone in the country’s democratic journey.”
The CEC made this statement in a video message to expatriates on the Election Commission’s YouTube channel on Monday night.
”If you are a Bangladeshi and expatriate and willing to cast vote, then you will get an opportunity for registration. Hope that, all of our expatriate brothers and sisters will take advantage of this opportunity.”Bangladeshi products online
CEC Nasir Uddin said that expatriates must register under the ‘Out-of-Country Voting’ system. For this purpose, the EC will soon launch a mobile application named Postal Vote BD. Voters will need to download the app on their mobile phones, where an instructional video will guide them step by step through the registration.
