Tarique Rahman completes NID registration formalities

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has completed the National Identity Card (NID) registration process giving fingerprints and Iris scans.

He arrived at the Election Training Institute in Agargaon at around 1PM to complete his NID registration and enlist himself as a voter.

As part of the process, he provided biometric data and had his photograph taken.

ASM Humayun Kabir, DG of the NID Wing, confirmed that Tarique Rahman would receive his NID within a maximum of one day.

Meanwhile, Zaima Rahman completed the required process for NID registration and voter enlistment.

Accompanied by her mother Dr Zubaida Rahman, she arrived at the National Identity Wing office at around 12:26PM. Having completed the formalities, they left the office at around 12:45PM, shortly before Tarique Rahman’s arrival.
