Classes will be held three days online, three days in person: Edn Minister

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon announced a revised class schedule for selected schools in the Dhaka metropolitan area, introducing a hybrid learning system that combines both online and offline classes.

Under the new arrangement, students will attend in-person classes on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday, while online classes will be held on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

The Education Minister made the announcement at the auditorium of the International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Thursday.

The scheme will initially apply only to schools catering to students from well-off families, where adequate support exists to implement the blended system.

During the event, heads of educational institutions urged authorities to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during online classes, highlighting the need for smooth implementation of the new schedule.
