Nusrat Tabassum’s nomination declared valid for reserved seat

The Election Commission (EC) has declared the nomination of Nusrat Tabassum from the National Citizen Party (NCP) valid for a reserved women’s seat.

The information was confirmed on Saturday (2 May) by the party’s Joint Member Secretary and Office Cell Secretary, Saleh Uddin Sifat.

He said the Chief Returning Officer has validated Nusrat Tabassum’s nomination for the reserved seat. An official announcement is expected shortly after completion of formal procedures.

He also added that the National Citizen Party will brief the media at the Election Commission’s media centre shortly.
