Asaduzzaman Noor granted bail

The High Court has granted bail to former Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor in two murder cases filed with Mirpur Police Station and Ramna Police Station.

The order was passed on Sunday by a High Court bench comprising Justice K M Zahid Sarwar and Justice Sheikh Abu Taher.

Barrister Z I Khan Panna represented Noor during the hearing, while Deputy Attorney General Shaila Sharmin and Assistant Attorney General Md Alamin opposed the bail petition on behalf of the state.

Police arrested Asaduzzaman Noor from Bailey Road in the capital on the night of September 15, 2024.
