The government has instructed all filling stations across the country to remain open round the clock on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
To ensure smooth travel for passengers during the festival, the government has decided to keep CNG filling stations open for 13 consecutive days.
Recently, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division sent a letter regarding the matter to the Chairman of Petrobangla.
According to the letter, CNG filling stations will remain open 24 hours a day from 21 May to 2 June. This means all filling stations across the country will operate round the clock for seven days before Eid-ul-Azha and five days after the festival.
The government has announced a seven-day holiday for Eid-ul-Azha.
All government and semi-government offices will remain closed from 25 May to 1 June. In addition, garment factories will grant Eid holidays in phases.
