Gold price hikes again

The price of gold in domestic market has been increased by Tk 5,482 per bhori.

According to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) on Monday morning, the new price of 22-carat gold has been set at Tk 230,422 per bhori (11.664 grams).

Under the new pricing structure, 21-carat gold is being sold at Tk 219,983 per bhori, while 18-carat gold is priced at Tk188,549 per bhori. Gold produced under the traditional method has been fixed at Tk 153,557 per bhori.

BAJUS said the revised prices would be effective from 10AM.
