Hindu Aid UK has expanded its humanitarian operations

The UK-based charity, Hindu Aid UK, which operates under the motto “Serving Mankind is Serving God,” combined immediate disaster relief with long-term community development alongside grassroots partners.

In its latest financial review, Hindu Aid UK confirmed ongoing direct financial assistance for families facing medical emergencies, including patients recovering from brain tumours, road traffic accidents, and neurological injuries.

The charity also completed two major educational and livelihood initiatives in Bangladesh, including in Rangamati (26 June), partnering with Sanatan Jubo Parishad, the charity distributed essential learning materials to thirty orphaned and underprivileged students. The event was attended by one hundred community members and Hindu Aid UK Trustee Anupam Saha FCCA and in Barishal (3 July), working with Sanatani Vidyarthi Sangsad at Amritangon, the charity provided emergency food rations to sixteen vulnerable families.

It also supplied business stock to two small enterprises and a sewing machine to a family to secure long-term income. The event opened with a devotional bhajan performance by Oxford University PhD student and Hindu Aid UK Youth Coordinator, Shuchishmita Maitra.

Youth Coordinator Shuchishmita Maitra stated that the charity’s core focus remains restoring dignity and empowering vulnerable communities through selfless service. Looking ahead, Hindu Aid UK plans to scale its international footprint by strengthening its partner and volunteer networks both in the UK and overseas.

Hindu Aid UK has expanded its humanitarian efforts, combining long-term projects in Bangladesh with emergency disaster relief in Venezuela.
