Australian Deputy Chief of Army meets Gen Waqar

A delegation led by Australian Deputy Chief of Army Major General Chris Smith paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman at Army Headquarters in the capital on Sunday.

During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Australia as well as ways to further strengthen mutual cooperation and professional relations between the armies of two countries, said a statement published on the Facebook page of Bangladesh Army.
