Two suspects held in Sylhet

Two persons, who have been suspecting to involve with Ataur Rahman Shajahan killing, were held on Sunday night.
The arrestees were identified as divorced Jarina Begum, 50, daughter of late Rifath Ullah of Hatkhola village of Jalalabad Thana under Sylhet district and Abdur Jahir Badai, 26, son of Abdul Khalek of the same village.

They confessed at Thana that they involved with the murder, said Officer-in-Charge of Jalalabad Police Station Akter Hossain.

Jalalabad police recovered Ataur’s dead body from Shibbazar Shahi Eidgah area at around 12:00pm on Saturday. Later, Kabir Ahmed, younger brother of Ataur, on Sunday filed a murder case with the Police Station against unknown miscreants.
