Swechchhasebak Dal leader held in Sylhet

Police arrested a leader of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, the volunteer front of BNP, from Shahjalal Uposhohor area of the city on Sunday on charges of subversive act and vehicle torching.
The arrested was identified as Joynal Ahmed, a leader of Sylhet city unit of Swechchhasebak Dal.
Shakhawat Hossain, officer-in-charge of Shah-Paran Police Station, said they arrested Joynal from the area at noon.
Joynal was accused in four cases, including two cases for subversive acts and one vehicle torching case.
