Live fundraising for Kawsar Chowdhury on 11th of May

The colleagues Kawsar Chowdhury, Senior Staff Reporter of Dainik Sylheter Dak, has organised a press conference to raise fund for his treatment. He has been suffering from Liver and Kidney conditions for a long time. Journalists from electronic and press media and representatives from various community organisations took part in the press conference which took place on 2^nd of May.

Guests who were present at Micro Business Centre committed 30 lakh Taka for the destitute journalist on the spot. Founding President of London Bangla Press Club and Senior Vice President of British Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce Mohib Chowdhury presided over the meeting and Chief Reporter of Channel S Mohammed Jubair conductedit. Ibrahim Khalil, Senior Reporter of Chanel S and Co-ordinator of Kawsar Chowdhury Treatment fund delivered the welcoming speech.

Editor of weekly Desh and member of Fundraising Working Committee Taysir Mahmud read out the written statement to the audience.
