Mirpur Union Welfare Trust UK organises meeting

The long-established Mirpur Union welfare Trust UK recently organised its work committee meeting in Micro Business Centre in East London. Organisation’s President Alhaj Master AmirUddin Ahmed presided over the meeting and General Secretary Angur Ali presented it.

Guests who addressed the audience included Treasurer Ansar Ahmed, Vice-President Moktar Miah, Shishu Miah, Abul Hossain, Kamal Hossain, Abdul Ahad Khan and Faruque Khan.

New members who joined the trust were Faruque Khan of Atghar, Golaf Miah and Shahjahan Miah of Kochurkandi.

The committee decided to organise its Iftar on 21^st of June. The committee also expressed their frustration for not having election in Mirpur Union. The members strongly demanded an election date from the government.

The meeting ended with the closing speech from President of the organisation Master Amir Uddin Ahmed.
