Lib Dem sending clear message to stop Brexit

Liberal Democrats believe that Britain is better off in the EU. The Conservatives are making a mess of Brexit, and the Labour Leadership continue to support them. Lib Dem believe people should be able to choose whether the deal is the right deal for Britain’s future.  Nationwide they launch the Exit from Brexit campaign, which is moving faster with the upcoming MEP election. Lib Dem launched their manifesto for Europe on May 9, 2019. The leader of the party Sir Vince Cable mentioned, we are running our campaign on a clear message – a vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to stop Brexit. We were the first to call for a People’s Vote in 2016 – and we haven’t stopped fighting for it, nearly 3 years later. We want Britain to remain in the EU because it’s best for our economy, our public services and best for the environment

Following their nationwide campaign, Newham Barking and Dagenham Liberal Democrats held a street stall outside the Stratford train station where they distributed leaflets and spoke to the residents and commuters. There were Labour party and Brexit Party out there at the same place as well. However, residents and commuters were very much engaged with Lib Dem and Labour party and Brexit Party had to pack their stall and left the venue immediately after their start. There are many commuters joined Lib Dem Registered Supporter Scheme and showed their commitment to stop Brexit.

Our news correspondence managed to talk to the Executive Member Afzal Sayed Munna who replied that, we were strong and we are getting much more stronger in Newham Barking and Dagenham. At this moment both the borough is a one party borough, which require a change and residents are listening to us. Afzal also mentioned how they are wining in local elections which clearly sending a clear message to all that, together we are much more stronger for an open, tolerant and united society. Afzal request everyone to out on 23 May and vote for Liberal Democrats to help stop Brexit.
