3 die in Sunamganj road crash

Three people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Sunamganj’s Chhatak upazila on Tuesday.

This accident happened in Barakapan area of the upazila in the morning.

The deceased were Abdul Karim, Nurul Haque and Asad Uddin.

According to police and locals, some traders were going to Sylhet to sell fish by a pickup van from Sunamganj’s Jamalganj. On the way, when they reached Barakapan area, the pickup lost control and collided with a roadside tree. Three people died on the spot and two others were injured.

Jaikals Highway Police sub-inspector Abdul Kabir confirmed it.
