The lowest temperature of 5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Panchagarh’s Tentulia on Sunday morning.
Rangpur Meteorological Department recorded the temperature of Tentulia at 9am.
Around 6am, the temperature in Tentulia and Dinajpur, two regions of the north, was recorded at 5.5 degrees Celsius today.
Mild to moderate cold spell is sweeping over 28 districts, including two divisions, today, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) around 8:30am.
Dhaka’s temperature may increase from Monday which was recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius this morning, according to the Met Office.
The met office has also predicted light rain from January 31.
