Khulna beat Dhaka by 5 wickets

Khulna Tigers managed an easy win by five wickets against Durdanto Dhaka in the 33rd game of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Friday.

Earlier opting to bat, Dhaka were restricted to 128/7 after 20 overs despite early setbacks.
They started falling under pressure from the beginning of the innings as they lost three wickets in 27 runs.

Batters of Dhaka were struggling in the crease to score runs, and at the end of the innings they managed to post 128 losing seven wickets.

Mosaddek Hossain, Alex Ross and Irfan Sukkur added 26, 25 and 25 respectively.

Wayne Parnell and Mukidul Islam picked up three wickets each for Khulna.

In reply, Khulna overtook the target of 129 runs losing five wickets with 28 balls in hand.

Parvez Hossain Emon, Shai Hope and Afif Hossain contributed 40, 32 and 43 for their team.

Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed picked up two wickets each for Dhaka
