All government and private offices, courts, banks-stock markets reopened on Monday (April 15) after five days’ of Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh vacation.
The clients will be able to do banking transactions as usual from 10am-3:30pm. But the banks will remain open till 5pm.
Presence of officials and employees at the Secretariat were seen fewer in number on the first day. There is no important work today at the offices.
Meanwhile, there are no crowd of visitors at the secretariat today.
With public holidays for Eid falling on April 10, 11 and 12, followed by a weekly holiday on April 13 and another holiday for Pohela Boishakh on April 14, people enjoyed a five-day break from April 10 to 14.
