IGP, DMP Commissioner removed

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Mainul Hassan have been removed from their respective positions.

Baharul Alam has been appointed as the IGP. Besides, Sheikh Sazzad Ali was appointed to the post of DMP Commissioner.

The Ministry of Home Affairs informed it through a circular on Wednesday afternoon.
