15 people killed in political violence since poll schedule announcement: TIB

At least 15 people were killed in political violence since the Election Commission announced the poll schedule 36 days ago, said Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) in a report on Monday.

Political clashes rose sharply last year, largely owing to BNP’s internal clashes, TIB said, adding the party was involved in 91.7% of the cases.
