EC cancels Monira Sharmin’s nomination for reserved seat

The Election Commission (EC) has cancelled the nomination of Monira Sharmin, a candidate of the Jamaat-e-Islami-led 11-party alliance and joint convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP), for a reserved women’s seat in the 13th National Parliament.

Officials announced the decision on Thursday after 12PM at the Election Building in Agargaon
