Australian High Commission hosts alumni networking event in Dhaka

The Australian High Commission in Bangladesh co-hosted a networking event this week bringing together alumni of two of Australia’s flagship development initiatives — the South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) programme and Australia Awards.

According to a Facebook post on Friday by the Australian High Commission in Bangladesh, the event provided alumni with an opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas and share experiences.

Officials said the gathering reflected Australia’s continued commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue and strengthening engagement among members of its alumni community in Bangladesh.

The event also highlighted the importance of professional networking and collaboration among graduates of Australian-supported development programmes.
