
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday held a courtesy meeting with officials of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) and discussed rehabilitation services and support for people with disabilities.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat in the afternoon.
During the meeting, CRP representatives briefed the prime minister on the organisation’s ongoing activities, medical services and rehabilitation programmes for people living with paralysis and physical disabilities.
The discussion also focused on rehabilitation initiatives and ways to strengthen support services for affected individuals.
CRP Founder Trustee Dr Valerie Ann Taylor, Executive Director Dr Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, Trustee Chairman Muhammad Saidur Rahman, Trustee Mushtak Ahmed and other senior officials of the organisation attended the meeting.
