Establishment of 1,000 more digital labs in educational institutions planned

Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam has said that work is underway to revise the development project proposal for the second phase of the initiative to establish more digital labs in educational institutions.

Under the plan, computer labs will be set up in 1,000 educational institutions across the country in the next fiscal year, he said.

The minister shared the information in parliament on Tuesday while replying to a starred question from Noakhali-6 MP Abdul Hannan Masud.

In response, Hannan Masud urged the government to address the shortage of teachers at existing digital labs in schools.
