Dipu Moni falls ill at Munshiganj jail, brought to DMCH

Former Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni suddenly fell ill at Munshiganj jail and was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at 6AM on Monday.

ASI Md Fazlu, who escorted her to the hospital, said that Dipu Moni fell ill at Munshiganj jail in the morning. As per the jail authorities’ instruction, she was immediately taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

She is currently receiving treatment at the Medicine Department in the hospital’s new building.
