Six top office-bearers of the Inqilab Cultural Centre platform, including Chairman Abdullah Al Jaber and Vice-President Fatima Tasnim Zuma, have stepped down from the organisation.
They announced the decision on their respective Facebook accounts on Wednesday night.
The others who resigned are the center’s President Salahuddin Shuvo, acting Executive Director Fahim Abdullah, Financial Management Director Md Raihan, and Deputy Executive Director Habibullah Misbah.
The six people said they had decided to hand over all the centre’s documents in response to demands from the family of slain Inqilab Moncho founder Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
The centre is the cultural wing of Inqilab Moncho, which was formed after the July Uprising.
